Lions and Tigers and Bears - Oh My!

Ok, well no lions or Tigers but we've got bears and birds!

Snapped these photos while visiting my mom (she only lives about 10 minutes drive from us). Of course the photos of the bear were taken from inside the house (I currently do not have a death wish -- I like having my arms and legs intact, thank-you-very-much)!


And look at the brand-spankin' new babies (some type of Wren I think) that were living in one of my mom's plants beside the house. I almost cried when I saw them, they were so amazing!

Anyway, I haven't done much scrapping over the last few weeks. Been busy getting the YMBD Shop back up and running, and doing some travelling with DH (he goes away one night a week to visit customers out of town and I've been trying to go with him as much as possible when I have the chance). Kinda like a mini holiday although I'm stuck in the truck most of the time waiting while he visits and does his job.

But I've been using that time to read some awesome books. Over the last few weeks I've read all the Shopaholic Series by Sophie Kinsella (and most of her other books too), and all the books by Emily Giffin. Really good summer reads I'd recommend! Let me know if you have read any of them and what you think!
